Gratitude Journal Day #104: Wednesday, 1/13/21

Monday was 5 Gratitudes. Tuesday, I bust in with SIX. Wednesay, 7 personal stories of Gratitude from a King THRIVING despite Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…

7.) Ok, doing 6 Gratitudes isn’t THAT much more of my day ⏰ – When I challenged myself to do this, stacking up Gratitudes, I worried about the time disrupting my day. Day one, 5 Gratitudes, was NO problem. Day 2, 6 Gratitudes, was a breeze. Today’s 7 Gratitudes was a little harder. Not thinking of ’em but remembering WTF happened because soooo much happens plus you know, πŸ™„MS digs holes OUT of the brain. πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ I did what a KING supposed to do and solved it by jotting down stuff all day, as it occurred. πŸ‘‘ Now, I just SELECT which to use. #Boom

6.) New dude joined my Gorilla Daddy League for PS4 🏈🏈 – My goal was 8 users for the Gorilla Daddy League, one per division. We were down to 6 active people but a referral slid in and got it back to 7 total. Only division missing is the NFC South.

5.) Central A/C is working – In THIS up and down, Texas weather?! πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ My body is HIGHLY sensitive to temperatures, MS-related symptom, and I need SOME control. Too hot and I pass out. Too cold and I have those seizure-like tremors. Co-worker talked about hers went out at home and the price it costs, time it takes, the UNcomfortability while it gets fixed…. Ooooooo. I don’t want them problems. Grateful my stuff and I need to get some air filters too.

4.) THERMAL draws and tops – πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘ I am SERIOUS about that. Even WITH central A/C, I’m freezing at the doggone, work-from-home gig. The thermals are a necessity and they look on me.

3.) Tongue scraper – Sis. 🀐 I ain’t saying I NEEDED a tongue scraper buuuuuuut I needed a tongue scraper. Breathe is like… Bad breathe is my greatest fear. YUP, worse than bad teeth. This is a REAL one too. Not that plastic, 3-in-1 combo stuff. πŸ˜‰

2.) Mr. Mayor – Episode 1 was FUNNY than a MUG. The Queen and I laughed out loud the whole episode! Reminds me of Trial & Error.

1.) Got a LITTLE attention on my application – Grateful about that? YES. However, I’m even MORE grateful that I pinpointed some areas of my resume and Letter of Interest that need updating. DAMN. I’m trying NOT to trip over submitting my applications without those improvements. (Those what-if thoughts will wreck your motivation!) Bet I get stuff down before my next job application. 🀞🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾
