Gratitude Journal Day #313: Friday, 8/13/21

*jamming and grooving in wheelchair* Yoo, y’all remember this by?

Shalamar. For the lover in you. (YouTube link)

3.) Carrots are new croutons – Bruuuuuh, hear me out. I started off really NOT liking carrots at ALL. I’m cool beans with them now. Cool beans like I’ll eat them if they’re already on or in a dish but NEVER ask or order them. I do hummus 2021. ORDER, ask, inquire, remember, the works. With that snack, comes veggies and finally, an appreciation for carrots. All that is the backstory to carrots being my croutons. I can even lay them to the side and use them as ‘SOP-ers’. That solid crunch, subsequent crunch, and following crunches does something to the whole salad. I dig it. I like it. It’s new, funky, fresh and still healthy, aligned with my wellness. *bows* Carrots have officially been drafted into the rotation.

2.) 1st Adult is taking #4 to school – Awwwww! *sniff* One of those TEAM moves since I can’t drive, walk, blah blah blah. I’m grateful she seems low key excited because kid #4 was cruuuuunk. 🤜🏾🤛🏾🖤

1.) Learned something useful – Folks, 🤓 I JUST learned about autocorrect, idiot function, whatever. If you select a predicted word, you don’t HAVE to delete the automatic spacing afterwards! LMAO!!! I’ve been deleting that space since the beginning of predictive texts and autocorrect. The time I’ll save, frustration I’ll avoid. Ohhh, Kings, Queens, I can’t be the ONLY one. I’m SUPER grateful about this.
