How I deal with the anger issues of MS, disability, employment stress and kids…

Honestly, I’ve busted my ass to change my whole perspective of life with this illness. My wife and I were talking divorce, kids were sensing the bullshit and you know how KIDS can get. Bro, my life, my being, my wellness is riding with a better diet and keeping a Gratitude Journal. The Gratitude Journal sounds trifling and tedious but I’m 3 years into writing at LEAST 3 Gratitudes every day. It’s not always the FIRST thing I do, but when I wake up, I’m thinking of what I can write at some point. I won’t miss a day. Nope, no ma’am. I think about that damn Gratitude Journal all the time and it is IMPROVING me. My wife is now my Queen. She cooks all this crazy, good, healthy stuff, pays more attention to me, asks questions and actively helps me. She always says its because I’m so grateful and present now. “I mean, it ain’t like I feel like HAVE to do this stuff for you. I just see it working and you act like everything is good that I wanna keep doing it.” I got 3 daughters, 1 son. We actually TALK about stuff (movies, books,, friends, even BOYSπŸ˜‘) because I make sure I’m doing stuff with them. I’m doing stuff with them, writing Gratitudes about it all, cycles repeats so much that no rinse is necessary. I’m 4yrs Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, no prescription drugs, quit healthcare but I OVER-stand the difference between the mind, soul, heart and body. No matter how fucked up my body gets, the heart, mind and soul are soaring. Shit ain’t all good but keeping a Gratitude Journal focuses me on what IS good. Instead of being pissed about an electric bill, I’m grateful AF I can pay it. EVERYBODY can write a Gratitude Journal. I keep mine online now. Good luck on your journey towards wellness Brother! Hit me up ANYTIME! πŸ€œπŸΎπŸ€›πŸΎπŸ–€

I do yoga everyday for activity, stretching, working out, all that. I started with YouTubing ‘yoga for MS’ and ‘yoga for disability’. I’m 100% wheelchair bound but I’ve lost weight, toned up and my sex game is waaaaay better. I get exhausted like a mutha but I have specific vitamins and supplements that help PLUS I love my freaking life so much that most of what I do, doesn’t feel like work. For toilet issues, I changed my diet and it helps A LOT. I have Ulcerative Colitis, severe throat damage from acid reflux and eating the Pescatarian, heavy on veggies lifestyle chilled a lot of those issues. Now, if I’m having BM issues, my Queen makes a sweet potato smoothie and it works me like a laxative. I still have bladder issues but they’re soooo much better than before. I’m missing work today with bladder issues, neurosis in feet BUT the real reason is because I wanna hang out for Spring Break with folks. That’s how the perspective thing with Gratitude Journals works. I’m so amped and hype on missing work and kicking it that I don’t focus on the pain and discomfort I’m having. Keeping a Gratitude Journal has strengthened my mind and heart that I can almost ignore the pain and discomfort. Soon as everyone leaves, drinking stops, house back normal, I’m hurting again. BUT for NOW; Brother, I’m the life of the party because since I can’t walk, I don’t fall drunk like a normie, I just keep going and going and going and…. You get it! πŸ€œπŸΎπŸ€›πŸΎπŸ»β™Ώ
