Gratitude Journal Day #157: Monday, 3/7/21

THIS Monday is mine. I got Gratitudes, sleep, water and some better energy.

3.) Kids did NOT need Sunday dinner – Thank you, grateful and *pumping fist* awesome sauce. They didn’t need dinner because there was a whole, supreme pizza cooked and waiting for them. The gratitude is because it saved every adult time and energy. WE needed it more than usual after a Born Day-themed weekend of good, ol’ skool fun, Dominos, Taboo, crawfish, turkey necks and jokes.

2.) Sat outside yesterday – Enjoying myself, in the sun, sweet weather and playing radio jams. I haven’t sat in the sun since October or November so my skin appreciated it most, soul was 2nd.

1.) I got to visit my brother & his Queen – I hadn’t been to their spot siiiiiiiince… You get it. Pandemic, disabilities, I can’t drive and boom, it’s been a year. I haven’t SEEN my parents in a full year. My brother and I have seen each other because he’s 30min away and feels I’M worth the trip, plus my Queen and kids are cool. *winks* Yo, I’m rambling. Back to the point, they’ve made all kinds of improvements and deep into NEWER projects, lines of business, being independent. Stuff like that? I’m grateful because you see in real-time how things get done, the why, the benefits and learn the stories of overcoming. Few things go right the first time and they were ready to share how they overcame the obstacles. That’s what I’m grateful for with that visit. I could SEE, with my own eyes, their success despite a pandemic, winter storm, and regular bullshit. *thumps chest* I’m motivated by their grind and shine.

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

This is an excursion of awakening into positive thinking, entrepreneurship, and natural healing while living life. In short, I am an AWESOME teacher-turned-Passioneer. No, I didn't retire because kids were too crazy, pay was too small, work was too much or forced to give too many tests. A Passioneer is an individual that exercises passion.
