Gratitude Journal Day #121: Saturday, 1/30/21

Easier thought than done huh? You can't take care of everything, everybody and be #sickAF. Chill out and prioritize bc energy is a premium of this lifestyle.

What I am GRATEFUL about today…

3.) Kids & kitchen 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 4am. I hear plates and shit rattling in the kitchen. Microwave clearly being pulled open and slammed closed. The goofing off and yapping was loud than a mug. DAWG. My disabled was up, hobbling and wall walking to get close enough to fuss at them. Imagine my shock when I find out, THEY IN THERE CLEANING THE KITCHEN! 4am is too late but it was done before they laid down and that was the only instruction. “Y’all clean that kitchen before you go to bed you hear!”

2.) Earned my favorite craft beer My Queen surprised me with my favorite craft beer. What did I do to earn such a handsome reward? GOT THAT JOB! 🤴🏾🤣🤣 I’m not supposed to be dranking, drinking, etc. on account of the #nosugar, #nogluten, #noliquor lifestyle. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤴🏾 I’m a King but I’m not there quite yet. Not all the way there and today, I ain’t. Today, I’m celebrating this J-O-B victory and grinding out the training sessions.

1.) 1st PRODUCED episode of That’s The Way I Feel – Here. We. Come. The 1st NEW episode of the podcast is dropping today, 4pm. We have guests from Washington D.C. to discuss stress, MS and the D.C. rebellion (S/O to Kerry). We have actual, real equipment (THANKS Queen!). We got a producer to work out the sound and technics (*bows* to Nigel). We have a sketch or outline to keep the episodes on track for a proper finishing time. Broo. Gurl. We coming at cha!

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…
