Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
10.) Covid tests are done (I can ADD Gratitude whenever I want! 🤪) – Daaaaaaaaaaamn!!!! That was rough. Those doggone Q-tips were so far up my nose that I came out feeling WORSE. It was THEIR 2nd time, my first. I don’t want to ever to do that again but I’m grateful it’s done.
9.) Kroger did the refund – Yoo. Nobody wanted to go INSIDE the store. We are big on ordering and stuff. Yesterday, some the stuff was wrong but the employee went inside, got our refund and brought it back. #Boom
8.) Found the perfect gift for my Queen 🤞🏾 – What did I get? A year subscription to Audible because she jams audiobooks like I jam music. I had to put in work like a detective to find something buuuuut…. again, #Boom. So far, she liking it because it blows her available-to-read options wide open.
7.) Son handles my wheelchair in/out vehicles – Whatever homie. I want to be as independent as possible but sometimes, a dude need help. That’s where my BOY shines. He is getting comfortable and fast with moving my wheelchair before I even ask!
6.) Toothbrush cases! – Aight. Covid is in the crib and we doing things a little different to keep it contained. (No more shared toothbrush holders. 🤷🏾♂️) Good thing i already got a FEW cases. I even hooked up my youngest with her own. *pops collar*
5.) Nobody else showing symptoms 🙏🏾 – Bump a jinx DAWG. I’m “claiming” this team’s wellness. The kids are sick of the questions but it ain’t stopping till those results come in. Silver for EVERYBODY, all day. 💪🏾
4.) Dropped this NEW phone 3-7x already – No cracks, chips, breaks. Yes, I ordered a case and screen protector but it hasn’t arrived and I’m determined to use this mug sooooo… 😬 Tell you what, my heart slows everytime I drop it thinking THAT was THE drop.
3.) Sinus stuff! – I gotta take a picture of this medicine. What you do is drop a bit into some hot water and breathe over the “Vicks Vapor Rub”-type liquid. 👩🏾⚕️ It works for ME and saves soooo much time. Before this, I was boiling water, adding salt, cover with towel, go at it for 15-20min. The old way worked but I sho nuff appreciate this option.
2.) Potnas & people sending well wishes – *sniff* I LOVE my squad. The texts, messages, videos, calls ALL keep my spirits up. Y’all KNOW how I am about the mindset and affairs of the heart. I read encouraging stuff repeatedly because I appreciate how it increases my vibe, protects my #energy/inner G.
