Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
Because it’s TRUE. I don’t even SEE you yet I KNOW you look better with a smile. I don’t care if you have braces, haven’t brushed, missing teeth, you look better with a smile. Your #energy/inner G will introduce you before you speak when YOU smile. Your eyes light up, your body language oozes with confidence. KING, you gotta smile more because smiles are soooo much better than the mean mugs and OG stares.
3.) Enjoyed my FIRST early “release” on the 1st day of the new gig. 💻 BOI! I burned rubber like a mini-van on the LAST day of school! Other than that, it was cool beans, easy peasy and slow boogie. PERFECT for a King, disabled & Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, who needs a few days to rest, recover and repair. See, this is how Gratitudes work. I NEEDED a slow day, early release. This gig gave NO indication of such an unforeseen measure. FIRST day, go home early? (😑 Heck NAW, we didn’t get a FULL day pay but that ain’t what I needed so bump what perspective YOU pumping! 🤴🏾) Thank you UNIVERSE! 🙏🏾
2.) Bought the new Destiny. 🤣😂🤣
It’s my 2nd favorite video game of all time. Skyrim was first. 😋 In my mind, I was gonna blog about saving the universe with my bro, swapping potshots at the bad guys, upgrading our Guardians but no. Nope, I’m not. My life is full AF and I have enough projects. My Queen is grinding out the brand & business with me so Destiny will NOT be blogged. *picks up helmet & sword* I gotta go. THEY waiting on me.
1.) Learning the importance of WATER to managing MS! 🎓👑💦 *hands up in surrender* I know, I know. We’ve heard it for FOREVER. *mocking, motherly voice* “Get over there and sit DOWN. Drink you some WATER.” 🙄 Well, you can eat righteous, be grateful, ALWAYS sitting because you’re disabled but totally, catastrophically fuck up if water ain’t the staple. 😦 I’m just now, at 43 years old, beginning to realize how much BETTER my plumbing, energy, skin, thinking, stuttering, shaking, freaking TREMORS (looks like a seizure and it huuuuuuurts. OMG, it huuuuuurts BAD. 💪🏾), sinuses, yoga, E-VER-E-THANG, runs smoother than a new Cadillac from the barber shop. It can take days, weeks to stock up, FOCUS and drink that necessary H2O. It’s taking me weeks, 😞, but I finally get it. All the meditation, yoga, exercise coagulated for me. Each day now, my “systems & operations” are improving, efficient, less resistant and natural. ALL my systems & operations, even sleeping is longer. As SOON as I slow down with my water intake, I can feel it, slower thinking, tinnitus louder, stomach cramping, churning, spasms. I NEVER tied together until early December 2020. *pours up 16oz glass of 62° water* A toast to my #sickAF Tribe, still swanging and banging on the 1s and 2s, living the #EffMS lifestyle. Let us hydrate and dominate going into 2021.
