Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

3.) Meal Prepping 👏🏽 My Queen KILLING it with this wellness & lifestyle gig! On an everyday basis, she’s hanging around the kitchen, jamming her audiobooks and podcasts, checking with ME on what I need. *fist bump* THIS weekend, she left meals prepped to ensure my ass eat. See, I’m far enough in this journey to know the difference in how I FEEL so I’m not backtracking, slipping, cheating, none of that shit. That being said, I’ll skip eating on purpose, out of time, lazy or just don’t see what I’m supposed to eat. 👎🏾👎🏾 Not good when #foodismedicine. I pay for it with increased shakes, less mobility, neurosis becomes a sudden priority, ENERGY, etc. This weekend, she had plans with her homegirls so she left meals prepped, reminded me starting the day BEFORE, day OF and texted while gone. 🤷🏾♂️ I got the point and made sure to eat. I read my pills to know which required food, paid attention to my water (She even left a gallon of alkaline just for me because the house water is empty. Wellness getting serious AF around here!
2.) Caught up with my Dad & brother! 🖤🖤 I hadn’t chopped with either in months so their real deal, phone CALLS to check on me were well deserved. I was so grateful for conversations because NOTHING beats talking to Kings that KNOW their passion & purpose, both are builders (I’m learning to be.) and both are COWBOY FANS. 🤢 NOT ME. NO. NEVER.
1.) LEMONS! 🍋🍋🍋 Lemons are becoming a staple of my lifestyle. Since I’m on the #nomeat #nosugar #nogluten #noliquor spaceship, I can’t do Ranch, Italian, NUFFIN on my salads. Nope, not even a vinaigrette. 💪🏾 Lemons to the rescue! For my dressings, it’s some combination of lemons, oil, seasonings, and herbs. *mind blown* If there’s no alkaline water, (*shrugs* Yes, I’m getting spoiled.) I give my filtered water a shot of fresh squeezed lemon. The only animals I eat are fish & seafood. I was worried about how to handle catfish without my Louisiana hit sauce, salmon croquet and rice, eggs, Louisiana hot sauce and I go waaaaay back. I’m grateful than a MUG for these doggone lemons!
