Gratitude Journal Day 40: Sunday, 11/8/2020

Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)

I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‹πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ I’m clowning TODAY!

3.) Pac-12 Football is back! 🏈 Not a moment too soon either! The Texans are NOT a good team. The Titans are pretending to be a contender. I need something I can cheer and Oregon is MY favorite college, colors, field, courts, speed, Nike, you get it. They opened with a resounding win over Stanford University. I wanted to see what the new Oregon QB looked like and he was cool beans for a first start. Grateful Oregon got the W to start the season.

2.) Marvel’s New Mutants!! πŸŽžπŸ˜‰ I can’t wait!Truth (My son is named Truth so πŸ˜›.) and I watch ALL Marvel movies together. The WHOLE family used to participate but we’re the only guys so eventually, the girls quit us. Anywho, we will be watching that mug today. I’m grateful just to rock with the homie and spend a couple hours with him. We can’t wrestle anymore, play sports outside, I missed his football games, ride bikes, BBQ or any of the “normal” father/son activities. At this point, I haven’t found anything to substitute for that loss of time. We’re like passing ships and I’m aware of his impending size and growth. πŸ€” TODAY tho? Today, we hang out. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎ

1.) Turned in my FINAL assignments for TEFL certification. πŸ’»πŸ“–πŸ€žπŸΎOMG! I mean, I haven’t received my final scores yet so I don’t know if I passed but I turned them in. Maaaaan, the mental relief of removing something that was “hanging over your head”. πŸ™πŸΎ I’m ready to move on to my non-profit start-up, my yoga certification, my insurance training *gulp*, my Black men’s mentoring group, MS groups, mycow -Managing Your Child’s Online Work, MY kids’ homeschooling, blah blah blah, yada yada yada.

This is an excursion of awakening into positive thinking, entrepreneurship, and natural healing while living life. In short, I am an AWESOME teacher-turned-Passioneer. No, I didn't retire because kids were too crazy, pay was too small, work was too much or forced to give too many tests. A Passioneer is an individual that exercises passion.
