Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

Why I chose THIS to start my day…
For ME, positivity couldn’t happen until I found stuff to be GRATEFUL for. I can’t MAKE my thoughts positive. I will roll out a red carpet and list a BUNCH of Gratitudes tho. How do I do it? 🤔 It’s a process. Processes are like muscles, the more you use ’em, stronger they get. At SOME point, YOU must develop YOUR process for improvement, self-care and reflection. 🤜🏾🤛🏾✊🏾
3.) Barber made a housecall! (Does that my son head is really, REALLY bad?) 😉 His, my son, head was rough. YES, part of it is MY fault because I’m Daddy, I see it, Queen points it out to ME, 😜. For HIS part, he is trying and I’m grateful for that. He combs it. Wait, NAW, he leaves picks around the house like he combs it! He does moisturize the HECK out that mug and I’m PROUD of him for that. When the barber came through to tame that mane, I didn’t even recognize him! GREAT job to the man chopping hair and I’m grateful for the cut, conversation, energy. *bro hug* AND #SaluteMyAssOff sir. 🖤
2.) Chess & checkers 🤤😜 Chess? Nope, I don’t know to play. Naw, the Mrs. doesn’t either. Kid #1 says she does but she absolutely does NOT. Nobody in the bloodline of our union can play chess BUT we can sho learn. See, the point is simple. Our kids are REAL HOMEschooling. 👏🏾👏🏾 That means, their screen time is crazy HIGH. (*pops collar* Mine too but that’s a different story. 🤣😂🤣) Video games, YouTube, TicToc, video chats with fam & friends, I mean their screen time is…. *blows* SO, enter the old school board games. We do Uno all the time and everybody is scared of dominos because I get a lil bit loud. (HEY! I’m teaching tho! 😎) Now, with each paycheck, we add more board games, checkers, chess, Life, I HOPE Monopoly, Risk, Castle Risk, all dem mugs coming. Chess has everybody on edge. BOTH players need the paper that shows the pieces’ movement and everybody else pointing out what THEY think a player should do. 😋 I like it. Checkers? Everybody THINK they good already buuuuuuuut folks be LOSING to anybody and everybody. I haven’t. Maaaaaan, this? Board games with family? Grateful AF homie. (Parents! Don’t be studden dem kids’ complaints! They’ll get into it. Ours want their screen time too but NAW dawg, I love you and wanna kick it with you. 😛)
1.) Gmass Email Campaign 💻🖱📧 Ooooo, my fingers are CROSSED. As a realtor, my email campaign brought me LEADS. Most bad but I blame myself for being a rookie and not understanding the game. As an insurance agent, I damn near got banned! 😶🤷🏾♂️ (I learned a LOT tho.) As an independent tutoring business, I got scared and gave up because I didn’t want to GET banned. 😖😕 Well, I’m baaaaaaaaaack. 🎙 This time, I’m bringing the PASSION and PURPOSE. I’m ONLY promoting myself and the blog. I’m THAT serious about the awesomeness of Gratitude and how it improves your mindset, stabilizes your wellness and makes you present. Yup, I’m grateful to have found something I believe in THIS strongly. I’m grateful I have stories to share about the power of Gratitude. I’m grateful I FINALLY realize… Yoo. This is REAL and I’m READY for more.
