Why keep a Gratitude Journal at all? (This is the saaaaaame intro for every Gratitude Journal entry. It’s here for the newbies to the journey.)
I try to start everyday with a Grateful heart. *duck face* Potna, I ain’t lying. You can check my IG accounts Queen/King. I get a lil raunchy on the Multiple_Sclerosis_Outlaw but I’m calmer, gentle with allthingsonelove. On both, I start my day sharing Gratitudes, stories of Gratitude and anything related to being Grateful. I’m dead ass serious about my Gratitudes because it keeps me present and accountable for my own energy. I recognize and appreciate the actions, words and energy of others intending me good. By starting my day with Gratitude, I have less MS pain, MS symptoms and MS depression because I’m actively pushing my thoughts towards a positive direction of Gratitude. My relationships with others are stronger because my Grateful ass notices what others do for me, to me, WITH me. *bows* I could go on and on and on and on about the benefits of being purposefully grateful buuuuuut… *whispers* Pssst, you know I wrote about it…

I outta write a love letter to meditation but NO. 😑 Nope. Maybe. I don’t know. 😜 I WILL start my Sunday FUN Day with a gentle dose of it. Why? Haven’t I BEEN clear on the benefits? *shakes head* See, that’s exactly… Nevermind, focus… *breathes deep than a mug* Meditation helps by:
• settle thoughts
• direct energy
That’s it in a nutshell. I’m a lil, mo patient after mediation. I can notice dark thoughts and change what I’m thinking after meditation. I’ve made SOME MS symptoms (MS Hug) & MINOR pains (hangover) go away after meditation. I have neither today but I’m meditating to PREVENT depression, dark thoughts and wack energy. 🤔😘
3.) Antebellum (Janelle Monae’, 2020 horror movie) 🎞 *long, low whistle* Maaaaan, I do NOT watch horror films. No ma’am. I’ll pass on that sir. My brother is biiiiig into horror, gore, creepy and anything else that leaves you with nightmares and ducking shadows. My other brother will watch a horror but he differentiates horror and gore. He doesn’t do gore. Period. My Queen is pretty the same way. She’ll watch it but it has to have a point, message, something besides killing. Wait, she doesn’t do anything with superpowers, demons, stuff like that. My ass don’t do horror or anything associated with adult scary. I’ll watch my kids’ stuff with them but I’m just not that dude. When the Mrs. dropped several hints that Antebellum was on OUR list, *quick exhale* I immediately told her, “Cool beans. Let’s do it NOW during early daytime just in case it freaks me out.” She rolled her eyes, *usual response* and it was on. Good movie, FANTASTIC PREMISE and you gotta read the blog for more. *wink* I’m shooo grateful for the chill time with her and the talking points for YEARS.
2.) I can tell my kids tried HARD to leave the living room and kitchen clean as possible. 🖤🖤 It doesn’t matter what we hinted or said before bedtime to elicit such effort. LMAO! Whatever we said, it has been said before but their effort was… Pitiful. This morning, *nods head as he looks around* this morning wasn’t bad. I appreciate the obvious effort and I’m leaving it there.
1.) Veggie Mini-Subs 🍞🍅🍟 THEY had regular, meat subs. I don’t even know what kind of meat because I stay in MY lane sir. *giggles* I’m serious. I do and I don’t know what meat. MY sub was a tomato base. I didn’t even need lettuce, cucumbers, etc. because I’m famous around MY house for basically putting a salad between toasted bread. This sub had the real Subway-like bread, toasted in the OVEN, tomatoes sliced like slabs of ham, medium mixed-pepper (It’s a Kroger thing), plant-based, hot pepper cheese (Again, a Kroger thing), oil and vinegar dressing (Dawg, that mayo and mustard will overpower the elegance of a good sub.), sea salt. That was it. Boom. Bam. Bust it wide open and go to town. Oh yeah, the air fries seasoned and I skip the ketchup. What a doggone meal! I ate like a KING supposed to grub AND enjoyed a nitecap. Making it home safe, grubbing good, bills paid will always, ALWAYS be a Gratitude. *makes a muscle*
